What data this site collects
- Browsing. The site has no forms or user accounts and does not ask for personal data in order to be read. It sets no tracking cookies unless you accept statistics (see below).
- Technical logs. Like any site, the server that hosts it (Cloudflare) processes the IP address and technical data of each request in order to deliver the pages, protect them from attacks and prevent abuse.
- Statistics. To learn which content is of interest, the site uses Google Analytics (Google LLC). By default it sets no cookies: the measurement cookies are only enabled if you press “Accept” in the notice, and you can change your mind by clearing the site’s data in your browser. Even without accepting, Google may receive cookieless visit signals (page view, language, device) for aggregate estimates. Cloudflare Web Analytics, an aggregate measurement without cookies, may also be used.
- Email. If you write to us, we will use your message and your address only to reply to you.
Typefaces and images
The typefaces and the images are served from this same site; they are not loaded from external font or advertising services. The only connection to a third-party service is the statistics one described above.
Links to other sites
The buy buttons and other links lead to third-party sites, such as Amazon. When you follow them, those sites apply their own privacy and cookie policies.
How long data is kept
Emails are kept only as long as needed to handle your inquiry. Technical data and aggregate statistics are managed by Cloudflare under its own policies.
Your rights
You can ask us for access to, correction of or deletion of the data you have sent us, and object to its processing or ask for it to be restricted, by writing to the contact address. If you believe your data is not being handled properly, you can lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of your country.
Changes to this policy
If anything relevant changes, this page and its date will be updated.
